Respond to a child maintenance application

Use this service if you have been named in an application to the Child Maintenance Service.

You can confirm the information we have been given is correct and tell us about anything else that can affect how much child maintenance you pay.

Before you start

You'll need:

• your reference number – you can find this on the letter we sent you about this application
• your National Insurance Number
• information about your income or benefits
• details of any children you support who are not part of this arrangement – for example, a child who lives with you or a child you have with a different partner
• your bank details

You need to create an account to use this service. You must have an email address and you'll need to set up a PIN and memorable password so you can get updates about the application.
